Quest Aircraft Authorizes New Dealer

According to General Aviation News uploaded a web long online talking about how Quest Aircraft and how it has given Aviation Unlimited the opportunity to become an authorized Kodak Company dealer. Aviation Unlimited will be in charge of Kodiak distribution on the eastern side of Canada.

Aviation Unlimited has had over 30 years of experience when it comes to the aviation industry. Aviation Unlimited is based out of Oshawa, Ontario. To be more specific about the region of Aviation Unlimited’s distribution for Kodiak, the company will be delivering to those in the province of Quebec as well as the Maritimes.

ProQuest Aircraft LLC is a subsidiary of Tsuneishi Group. ProQuest Aircraft works in the aerospace industry as a Japanese owned aircraft manufacturer. The company is located in Sandpoint, Idaho. There are a little bit over 180 employees that work for the company. The company has downsized from 340 in 2009. The reason why Quest Aircraft started in 2001, was to solve a problem of designing and providing aircrafts that are catered towards humanitarian applications.

ProQuest Aircraft was recently sold in February of 2015 to Setouchi Holdings of Japan. Setouchi was one of ProQuest Aircraft parts dealers before deciding to purchase the company.

According to ProQuest, here Is the company’s mission. “The development of the KODIAK grew from the need for a new-generation aircraft to serve both humanitarian mission and backcountry commercial aviation needs. Funding this new initiative required the innovative and unusual means of raising funds in cooperation with future customers who buy airplanes for relief and mission needs.”
