The Boeing Company was recently awarded a contract of nearly one billion dollars for their AH-64E re-manufacturing process.
The exact value of the contract W58RGZ-14-C-0018 is $922,628,257. The rebuilding process of 117 Boeing helicopters will be done at Boeing’s facility in Mesa, Arizona. The project is expected to be completed in just over two years.
The United States Army has been making numerous upgrades to the Apache Longbow attack helicopter over the years. This contract will allow the chopper to undergo some much-needed maintenance.
