Bombardier’s Challenger 650 Business Aircraft Receives EASA

This past week, top aerospace manufacturer Bombardier unveiled that their Challenger 650 aircraft has been awarded complete certifications from the European Aviation Safety agency (EASA). The 650 had already received FAA certification last year, so receiving this new EASA was key in expanding to and connecting with the European market.

“Our Challenger 650 aircraft successfully entered into service in 2015 and is now about to make its European debut in 2016. Demand for this aircraft is strong around the world and with certification now in-hand, we are eager for EASA-registered customers to experience this brand new jet,”

“Customers who are already operating the aircraft are delighted with its new cabin design, increased comfort and added productivity,”

Bombardier Aerospace's 600 Series group of jets are known across the aerospace industry both for reliability and low cost, the Challenger 650 aircraft continues to build upon this reputation. The newest member of the 600 Series, the Challenger 650 has several key upgrades from previous iterations of the aircraft including wider seats, innovative touch screen controllers, more powerful engines, and metal accents throughout. Additionally, the aircraft will feature a revamped galley, monitor displays, Blue Tooth capabilities, and Bombardier’s current generation Synthetic Vision System. All of these features and upgrades make the Challenger 650 an instant contender within the European aviation market.
