Binder, Connector and Cable Company, has increased their products to spread 3 into different types of industries. Ranging from different types of configurations and outputs, Binder adopts automation technology. It has placed a M12 Connector on the market that is precisely designed to handle power applications used for many other types of industries.
The connector is IEC 610776-2-111 compliant and is available in a male and female option. With both gender configurations, the cable can be made to be fit for the K (AC power) and L (DC power) coding. As the connector can be configurated to many different industries the cable diameter is capable of being created from 8-13mm.
The wire applied to the connector can reach up to 2.5mm2 and can be used as a screw clamp termination.
The cable is capable of different variation voltage rating ranging from 630VAC and 63VDC.
Its potential can control up to 16A that is determined by the coding. The cable is ” available with4+PEor4+FE gold plated contacts.”
One of the main industries that has capitalized on the new configurations is the food and beverage industry. These cables have been made with liquid proof materials to withhold any possible task that could be applied to the machines in the industry. The cable is composed of a die cast zinc locking ring and made around a plastic housing component.
As newer industries begin to use these types of cables they begin to find out what newer necessities and faults that could be adjusted for other applications. Their decision to begin their expansion is only the beginning to the continuous growth to their company. Binder continues to provide the industry with competing cable and connectors that have found a new place in multiple industries.
