The Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) series of aircraft are business jets designed and produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. From the years between 1998 to 2018, over 230 units have been manufactured for a variety of operators. The BBJ3 is a variant of the BBJ base model, developed from the Boeing 737-900ER. As compared to the BBJ base model, the BBJ3 variant features a 35% cabin volume increase, expanding the length of the aircraft by 28 feet.

The BBJ3 features two CFM 56-7B27 engines for its configuration, capable of producing 27,300 pound-force to travel at a maximum cruise speed of 473 knots. The BBJ3’s fuel tank capacity is 6,875 gallons which permits 3,060 nautical miles of travel with a fuel economy that equates to 0.45 nautical miles per gallon. As the BBJ3 is a business jet, it may carry a payload of up to 47,000 lbs, and its baggage volume is 1,593 feet cubed.
