The Boeing Business Jet, or BBJ, is a series of business aircraft developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes for the corporate jet market. The BBJ2 is a variant of the BBJ released in 2002, based on the Boeing 737-800. As compared to the base BBJ model, the BBJ2 touts a 25% volume increase within the cabin, as well as a doubling of the amount of cargo volume. The BBJ2 also has increased performance in regards to range and speed, and composite materials decrease the total weight of the aircraft. For passenger capacity, the BBJ may transport up to 78 passengers within a 1,004 square foot interior. With the configuration of the aircraft, offices, private offices, and bedrooms could be added.

With a fuel tank capacity of 6,875 gallons, the BBJ2 has a maximum travel range of 3,060 nautical miles and an average fuel economy equating to 0.45 nautical miles per gallon.
